The Reason I tried this one is because it says it is for all skin types and it removes makeup as well as cleaning and soothing the skin without needing water. It is has no smell and I really liked the way this worked with my skin. I always use a facial wipe before I use this and I found it always removes some of the makeup that is left behind by the wipe. Its really easy to use. Just soak a cotton pad with the water and wipe your face. You don't need to scrub to get things off. I found this was a great Micellar water and for the price it was very good. I know there are more expensive ones on the market but honestly for the price you cant go wrong with this Garnier one. ( At the moment its 40% off at Priceline for 400ml ).
I was walking around Aldi a few weeks ago and found a cheaper version of their brand of Micellar water. It retails at $4.99 ( not sure if it is a promotional item) so I thought I would give it a try. It is buy a brand called Lacura Essentials and it says it is a 3 in 1 cleanser, makeup remover and toner. Again no need to rinse and it is practically a dupe of the Garnier one. I have extremely sensitive skin so I need to be careful with what I put on it and I have to say I love this product. It glides easily on the skin and it contains Cucumber extract which left my skin feeling fresh and extremely refreshed. It has kind of a cucumber smell to it which I could live without but that's the only bad thing I have to say about it. The bottle is cute and it does what it says. It removes left over makeup ( I use a wipe before this one as well) and tones and cleanses. I have also noticed a change in my skin and its looking a lot more refreshed and I am not getting as much pimples since I have been using it. It is a great dupe for the slightly more expensive ones and I am a huge fan. So If you have sensitive skin like me I would recommend trying this product.

Hopefully this helps someone who is looking for a new Micellar water. I didn't really know too much about it but I am really glad I tried it.

ReplyDeleteJust started using the Aldi Lacura cleansing wipes....love them! I too have extremely sensitive dry skin and the wipes leave my skin clean and moisturised.
